Can anyone help me with this? I very appreciate that
# Example:
# values = [{"name": "Michelangelo", "food": "PIZZA"}, {"name": "Garfield", "food": "lasagna"}]
# string_factory(values)
# ["Hi, I'm Michelangelo and I love to eat PIZZA!", "Hi, I'm Garfield and I love to eat lasagna!"]
def string_factory(dicts, string):
string_list = []
for a_dict in dicts:
string_list.append(string.format(**a_dict))
return string_list

42,386 PointsHi Huyen, have you removed the starting template string? I just removed the string parameter from the function (and made sure it used the template variable) and everything works fine :)
template = "Hi, I'm {name} and I love to eat {food}!"
def string_factory(dicts):
string_list = []
for a_dict in dicts:
string_list.append(template.format(**a_dict))
return string_list
