What I think is the correct answer doesn't work and trying several other ways doesn't work either.

def mod(a, b) (a % b) == c puts "The remainder of #{a} divided by #{b} is #{c}." end

Hi Sam,

You have to return the compiled string with the numbers merged in, try:

def mod(a, b)
  #write your code here
  c = a%b
  return "The remainder of #{a} divided by #{b} is #{c}."
end
