Hi,

your img tags are fine, but the challenge is asking you: Leave the alt attributes blank, and don’t add any captions or links. Just the images!"

So, in order to pass the challenge, you need to remove the a and p tags that surround your img tags.

Simply delete it!

So your code will look like this:

<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
  <head>
    <meta charset="utf-8">
    <title>Nick Pettit</title>
  </head>
  <body>
    <header>
      <a href="index.html">
        <h1>Nick Pettit</h1>
        <h2>Designer</h2>
      </a>
      <nav>
        <ul>
          <li><a href="index.html">Portfolio</a></li>
          <li><a href="about.html">About</a></li>
          <li><a href="contact.html">Contact</a></li>
        </ul>
      </nav>
    </header>
    <section>
      <ul>
        <li>
             <img src="img/numbers-01.jpg" alt"">
      </li>
      <li>
             <img src="img/numbers-02.jpg" alt"">
      </li>
      <li>
             <img src="img/numbers-06.jpg" alt"">
      </li>
      </ul>
    </section>
    <footer>

Hi,

I have just posted this site to the community

How to Make a Website

it is a working version of the finished site you can build on the course you are taking.

I am looking for people to get involved and tell me what would be helpful to have on there.

You can view the thread here

and all the code here

Hope this comes in handy :)
