231,275 PointsThe challenge got confused, this is not a good error message.
A better one would be: SyntaxError: Unexpected token '+'
For task 1, the only operator you will need is assignment ("="), to give values to the first 2 variables. You should add to the original code but not remove any of it.
The third variable already has an assignment, you can use that as a reference for the changes you make on the first 2 lines.
