What is the minimum system requirements for running Android Studio?

I was considering a laptop with:

AMD Quad-Core 2.1GHz, 12 Gigs of ram Windows 8.1

Should this be powerful enough for all the exercises in the lessons?

Mine pc vista had similar states but i was running eclipse and it was fine . I think eclipse is heavier so i guess you will be all right.

Unless you are at the stage where you learn pretty fast and you will make som heavy game : p

But talking about spec, making graphics , animations with software like adobe , i guess you will have to get better pc . But well , i don't know all your stats .
