What is the solution?

I added a class = "tarun" to each of the <li> tags under the nav element. Then I wrote document.getElementsByClassName('tarun') as the answer. It gives me a bummer all the time. Please help.

js/app.js
let navigationLinks = document.getElementsByClassName('tarun');
let galleryLinks;
let footerImages;
index.html

<html>
  <head>
    <meta charset="utf-8">

You have to select "all links in the nav element". What you're currently selecting is the <li> elements, Tarun Preet Singh. The links are the <a> elements.

Also, you're not required to add any class in the HTML. If you don't have a class, and you only know the Tag Name, what method would you use to select them, according to the instructor, remember? :)

I have not done CSS selectors. I don't know parent-child relationships. I have taken this up in the javascript track.

I don't know how to mention the nav element & then select the <a> tags under it.

when I put in the code like this:- let navigationlinks = nav.getElementsByTagName('a'); It still gives me a bummer that it cannot find the variable nav.
