what is the syntax for the href attribute?

I've missed noticing about the spaces, hashes, inverted commas etc.

index.html
<!doctype>
<html>
  <head>
    <title>My trip to Spain</title>
  </head>
  <body>

    <img src="images/spain.jpg"alt="A picture of me in Spain">
    <p>Here is a picture of me in Spain last summer!</p>
    <a>href="#top"</a>

  </body>
</html>

The href property and value seem correct, but it should be placed inside the start tag (between the "a" and the ">"). Also, you should leave the contents inside the tags as provided by the challenge.

And property/value sets should be sparated by a space from other property/value sets or tag names.

that's brilliant; the problem was having difficulty in going back to the video to see what had been taught - I think I have it all sorted in my mind now; appreciate it!
