What you did:

var id = "23188xtr";
var lastName = "Smith";
id += .toUpperCase();
var userName

What you should do:

var id = "23188xtr";
var lastName = "Smith";
var userName = id.toUpperCase();

Hi

I think you need to change the variable of userName to

var userName = id.toUpperCase()

This makes userName = id in uppercase
