247 Pointswhat is wrong in 'menu' ?
i cant seem to find out what i am doing wrong. my code is : available = "banana split;hot fudge;cherry;malted;black and white" sundaes = available.split(';') menu = "Our available flavors are: {}" display_menu = (", ").join(sundaes) menu.format(display_menu)
i have tried "display_menu = ", ".join(sundaes)" with the same result.
my result is : 'Our available flavors are: banana split, hot fudge, cherry, malted, black and white'
if i knew what result you are fishing for i could maybe find out what i am doing wrong, witch i would call a missing feature at teamtreehouse.
available = "banana split;hot fudge;cherry;malted;black and white"
sundaes = available.split(';')
menu = "Our available flavors are: {}"
display_menu = (", ").join(sundaes)
menu.format(display_menu)

7,169 PointsYou have the right idea! You just forgot to reassign menu to the new value that you calculate in your last line. Try this:
available = "banana split;hot fudge;cherry;malted;black and white"
sundaes = available.split(';')
menu = "Our available flavors are: {}"
display_menu = (", ").join(sundaes)
menu = menu.format(display_menu)
