What is wrong with my code?

When using the index value of variables in a FOR Loop you just use the following:

    def loopy():
      for item in items:
         if item[0] == 'a':
           continue
         print(item)

Using what you have will produce this: ValueError: substring not found

You are asking :

for the item in items
     if the item index is 'a'
         continue 
    else print

'a' is not an index value. Index values are 0 and up. 'a' is a String value

Hopefully that made sense for you. I can try and clear it up more if needed.
