OK, here's a...weird...set of tiles. I need you to loop through TILES and print out each item. Print each item on the same line unless the item is a double pipe (||). In that case, instead of printing the item, print a new line (\n). Use the end argument to print() to control whether things print on a new line or not.
TILES = ('-', ' ', '-', ' ', '-', '||',
'_', '|', '_', '|', '_', '|', '||',
'&', ' ', '_', ' ', '||',
' ', ' ', ' ', '^', ' ', '||'
)
for item in TILES:
if item == '||':
print("\n")
else:
print(item, end=" ")

28,558 PointsYour code is quite close, but the challenge wants the tiles (that are not ||) to be printed in an uninterrupted row. By using a string with a space as the end character you end up creating spaces between each of the tiles.
If you use an empty string like this:
for item in TILES:
if item == '||':
print("\n")
else:
print(item, end="")
Then the tiles are printed without any separation, and your code will pass the challenge.
