(I'm italian and just for curiosity I would know the meaning that it has in programming context) I head it at 3.25 in the chapter "Syntax Overview"...

Treehouse Guest TeacherIn this case it means that a valid object is returned. The method alloc
allocates memory for the object but does not initialize it. The method init
initializes it to a valid state and sometimes even with some default values.
