what should i write Favorite color string equals ""

i have error when i write red

Hi Raj,

You need to rearrange that a little so it makes sense to the compiler. SO, you're trying to say that you are creating a string variable called favoriteColor that holds the value "red".

That would look like:

String favoriteColor = "red";

I hope that makes sense!
