What wrong with my code? Tt runs fine in workshop but can't pass the test.

def word_count(string): dicti={} string_lower=string.lower() string_list=string_lower.split(' ')
for word in string_list: dicti[word]=string_list.count(word) return dicti

wordcount.py
# E.g. word_count("I do not like it Sam I Am") gets back a dictionary like:
# {'i': 2, 'do': 1, 'it': 1, 'sam': 1, 'like': 1, 'not': 1, 'am': 1}
# Lowercase the string to make it easier.
def word_count(string):
    dicti={}
    string_lower=string.lower()
    string_list=string_lower.split(' ')
    for word in string_list:
        dicti[word]=string_list.count(word)
    return dicti

Hi, when you make a list with .split() try just making .split() and not .split(' ') and it should work. Then it will take a space as a separator and make every word an item in the list.
