What wrong with this statement? var assorted = ['hello', 21, false];

The system keeps giving me error.

Hi there! There's absolutely nothing wrong with that statement. However, challenges are very strict. It's important to try not to do anything the challenge doesn't explicitly ask for. Even if functional, it can cause the challenge to fail. In your code you've created a third array called shoppingList which was never asked for and it is causing the challenge to fail.

If I remove that line with the shoppingList, your code passes!
