Hi marinmirosevic

You don't require a user input in the function, that will be passed in to the function as an argument. Also you should not be returning the product if the argument is a string i.e the product calculation should be done within the try block.

def squared(num):
  try:
    num = int(num)
    return num **2
  except ValueError:
    return num * len(num)
