Cant seem to understand whats wrong with my code, thanks
# E.g. word_count("I do not like it Sam I Am") gets back a dictionary like:
# {'i': 2, 'do': 1, 'it': 1, 'sam': 1, 'like': 1, 'not': 1, 'am': 1}
# Lowercase the string to make it easier.
def word_count(arg):
count_dict = {}
word_list = arg.split().lower()
for word in world_list:
count_dict.update({word:word_list.count(word)})
return count_dict

11,747 PointsYou have to lowercase the string before you split it :)
word_list = arg.lower().split()
I also recommend creating a python file locally on your computer so you can test out and save the challenges in the terminal. You get much better feedback that way instead of just "bummer!"

11,747 PointsYou misspelled word as world in your for loop.
Here's an example of what you would see the terminal if you ran this file on your own computer: File "project.py", line 75, in word_count for word in world_list: NameError: global name 'world_list' is not defined
