What's the difference between a method and a property?

The video refers to .length as a property and .write(), .log(), and .toLowerCase(). Just trying to distinguish these two terms.

the methods do things like change the case or insert into the document. properties are just characteristics about something. if we were talking about a person, a property might be their age, while a method might be throw a football.
