Whats the syntax in order to scale on hover?

i want to know how Gil hid the extra width and height when he scaled on hover?

What if i dont want to add an img tag and instead want to use background: url("example link") and style it there?

Hi Obe,

You will have to put overflow: hidden on the elements parent container that you are scaling on hover
