1,877 PointsWhats wrong of my code? I always get this error message.
Is it possible to add more than a dictionary at once like this?
# Example:
# values = [{"name": "Michelangelo", "food": "PIZZA"}, {"name": "Garfield", "food": "lasagna"}]
# string_factory(values)
# ["Hi, I'm Michelangelo and I love to eat PIZZA!", "Hi, I'm Garfield and I love to eat lasagna!"]
#template = "Hi, I'm {name} and I love to eat {food}!"
def string_factory (values_item):
items_to_return = []
for item in values_item:
items_to_return.append("Hi, I'm {} and I love to eat {}!".format(item['name'], item['food']))
return items_to_return
values_item= [{"name": "Michelangelo", "food": "PIZZA"}, {"name": "Garfield", "food": "lasagna"}]
string_factory(**values_item)

Also, you can use the template provide instead of explicitly retyping the string.
template = "Hi, I'm {name} and I love to eat {food}!"
def string_factory (values_item):
items_to_return = []
for item in values_item:
items_to_return.append(template.format(name=item['name'], food=item['food']))
return items_to_return
