First, you opened curly brackets { } after your let variable. These are for objects, blocks and functions.
You were very close! But what they want you to get is only the value of the input, not the whole DOM element. So do it like this:
let inputValue = document.querySelector('input').value;
For step two, you are asked to set the text content of the <a> tag, to the value of inputValue. Which you would do like this:
let inputValue = document.querySelector('input').value;
document.querySelector('#link').textContent = inputValue;
