Whats wrong with my code?

Here is my code:

disemvowel.py 
def disemvowel(word):
    word = str(word)
    vowels = ["a","e","i","o","u"]
    for char in word:
        if char.lower() in vowels:
            word = word.replace(char,"") 
    return word

When I try it on my local environment it works just fine... but on tree house its irritating me with its "BUMMER" Message

Looks like the problem was my internet speed and connection... I passed too today :)
