It looks like you're on the right track, but may have misunderstood part of one of the steps? On the step you're on (2/3), they want you to remove the list within the list - [1, 2, 3].
# You can actually accomplish this on a single line by combining the methods.
# the_list.insert(0, the_list.pop(3))
item = the_list.pop(3)
the_list.insert(0,item)
# The first two lines here are correct.
the_list.remove('a')
the_list.remove(False)
# The del method accepts an index value.
# In this case, the list [1, 2, 3] currently has an index of 3.
del the_list[:]
# You can also use remove on the list as well.
# the_list.remove([1, 2, 3])
