What's wrong with my code?

I didn't understand the instructions too well, but this is what I did and it did not work

strlen.py 
def just_right(string): 
  string = input()
  if len(string) > 5:
    print("Your string is too long")
  elif len(string) < 5:
    print("Your string is too short")
  else:
    return True

Hi!

You were really close! You don't need to use input() as you are not retrieving any input from the user. Instead, you need to make sure the argument passed to the function is a string. How? By converting it using str() function. 

def just_right(string): 
  string = str(string)
  if len(string) > 5:
    print("Your string is too long")
  elif len(string) < 5:
    print("Your string is too short")
  else:
    return True
