What's wrong with my code?

I can’t work out what is wrong with my code to the following question

Select the unordered list with the class contact-info and set the font size to 0.9e. Then, remove all margin, padding and styling.

I get this error.

Bummer! Be sure to set the font size to 0.9em

Here is my code.

.contact-info ul { font-size: 0.9em; margin: 0; padding: 0; list-style: none; }

css/main.css
a {
  text-decoration: none;
}

#wrapper {
  max-width: 940px;
  margin: 0 auto;
}

#logo {
  text-align: center;
  margin: 0;
}

h1, h2 {
  color: #fff;
}

nav a {
  color: #fff;
}

nav a:hover {
  color: #32673f;
}

h1 {
  font-family: Changa One, sans-serif;
  font-size: 1.75em;
  font-weight: normal;
}

img {
  max-width: 100%;
}

#gallery {
  margin: 0;
  padding: 0;
  list-style: none;
}

#gallery li {
  float: left;
  width: 45%;
  margin: 2.5%;
  background-color: #f5f5f5;
  color: #bdc3c7;
}

nav ul {
  list-style: none;
  margin: 0 10px;
  padding: 0;
}

nav li {
  display: inline-block;
}

nav a {
  font-weight: 800;
  padding: 15px 10px;
}

.profile-photo {
  display: block;
  margin: 0 auto 30px;
  max-width: 150px;
  border-radius: 100%;
}

.contact-info ul {
  font-size: 0.9em;
  margin: 0;
  padding: 0;
  list-style: none;
}

.contact-info ul {
  font-size: 0.9em;
  margin: 0;
  padding: 0;
  list-style: none;
}

I don't think the word 'Select' in question should be used. It made me think this class was already in the css code and that the entire code page could be under the class.

I think the question should have stated to CREATE this entry instead of Select. My opinion, but to me select means it is already there.

Hey Peter,

It's an issue with the selector you are using. The challenge is asking you to "Select the unordered list with the class contact-info" (with being the keyword in the question.)

The selector being used now (.contact-info ul) is looking for a <ul> tag inside the class 'contact-info'. You need to select the <ul> that has that class name itself, so the selector you need is ul.contact-info. The rest of the code is correct. :)

Hope that helps. :dizzy:

i think you accidently copied this:

.contact-info ul { font-size: 0.9em; margin: 0; padding: 0; list-style: none; }

.contact-info ul { font-size: 0.9em; margin: 0; padding: 0; list-style: none; }

.contact-info { font-size: 0.9em; list-style: none; padding: 0; margin: 0; }

This is the right answer i think
