What's wrong with my "if and else" conditions?!

boolean statement...

var isStudent = false;

if ( isAdmin ) {
    alert('Welcome administrator')
} else if (isStudent) {
    alert('Welcome student')
} else (false) {
    alert('Who are you?')

As Ion said you need your semi colons after the alert, but there is also no need to pass in any parameters for the else condition.

var isAdmin = false;
var isStudent = false;

if ( isAdmin ) {
    alert('Welcome administrator');
}else if (isStudent) {
    alert('Welcome student');
}else{
    alert('Who are you?');
}

You want your else statement to run if neither of your first two conditions are met.
