What's wrong with my IF statement?

The challenge just asks for an IF statement, no code to be executed.

I put the following in the console and I still get "Bummer! I cannot see your if statement."

if ($name == 'Mike') { }

Is there something wrong with this if statement?

I think there's something wrong with the code challenge engine.

I had the same issue, must be some problem with the code challenge engine.
