any idea what's wrong with this code? ...I am assuming that the term 'assigning an upper case value of the "ID" variable to the "userName" ' variable means to add the value to it
var id = "23188xtr";
var lastName = "Smith";
var userName = userName + "id.toUpperCase()";

16,280 PointsIn your userName variable you wrapped your id.toUppercase() in quotes which would make it a string. Should be...
var someVariable = someVariable + anotherVariable.toUppercase();
Hope that helps
