When i click on run my emulator is just comes up with a black background and nothing else

When i click on the emulator it just comes up as black with no text

Unfortunatelly, the emulators that Android Studio provides are quite slow and take too much of your memory. I highly recomment using Genymotion. It's a lot faster and it is very user friendly. Give it a shot and let us know what you think :)
