When I drop the files over to upload they aren't doing so, can anyone help?

I've dropped them several times and nothing has worked.

if you are talking about files that you downloaded, you will need to unzip the files first.

how do I unzip them

when you download the files it will go to the download folder. select the file you want, then you should see up at the very top of the page a tag that says compressed folder tools. then under that there should be a bottom over to the right that says extract all. when clicked the cpu will ask to give it a path just hit ok or give it a path you want then select that file and pull it in to you work space. hop e that helps if not i will try to explain it better.

Also pay attention where you drop the files on the workspace, when you hover the files over the workspace there should appear at the bottom left corner something that says "Drop Files to Upload", you have to drop the files in that area.

You need to unzip the file before you can drag and drop the files. I assume that you have Windows, in which case, I use this piece of software: http://download.cnet.com/7-Zip/3000-2250_4-10045185.html. You will extract your files, and they will look and be named the exact same thing. However, this time, you can drag the new extracted files into your workspace.
