CSS How to Make a Website Beginning HTML and CSS Follow Along with Workspaces

When I launch a workspace I don't get a tab for the work space at the top of the browser. Why is that?

I created index.html but when I hit preview I see the page with the h1 element but then I can't get back to the workspace because there is no tab for it at the top of the browser. I have to launch the workspace all over again

Hi Douglas,

The default behaviour of the Workspaces Link is a Modal Window which simply opens your browser in a New Window with no control bars, this provides less elements of interruption or distraction to the workspace.

If you prefer to see them in a New Tab simply right-click the link and go Open in New Tab and Booyah...problem solved.

Hi Douglas,

The workspace tab is on the taskbar at the bottom of the window. You will have to click on that tab when you want to type in code. Then you can copy from the Treehouse video, as only the sound and motion is stopped.

I'm not sure if this is an intentional teaching method to help learners remember the instructions step by step.
