When I try to adjust setting using object literal, it doesn't recognize the function.

When I try to adjust setting using object literal, it doesn't recognize the function. Like when I type Type: string it isnt read and the code breaks.

Check your syntax. Also can you share your code or a link to your code? Depending on what IDE you are using sometime it might just be a matter of closing the browser window and re-opening the page.
