when the images are in the div element, should'nt the images be enclosed inside the div?

the video shows the image run outside as well. can u please explain the div element in detail.

Images will stay contained within their parent if you have

img {
   max-width:100%;
}

Otherwise, the image show with it's actual size regardless of the size of its parent element. So if you have an image that is 1000x500px, the image will be displayed at 1000x500px unless you specify a width or max-width.
