When using getElements with for loop, how can I apply changes only for one element instead of all of them?

Let's say I have nav and listen to clicks, I would like to update the color of anchored section instead of all elements and I nav and sections with loop?

If you give your "anchored section" an ID, you can easily select just it with document.getElementById() and then update the color. I wouldn't think a loop would be needed.
