Where am I going wrong?

I keep getting back the error "TypeError: unsupported operand type(s) for ** or pow(): 'str' and 'int'"

squared.py 
# EXAMPLES
# squared(5) would return 25
# squared("2") would return 4
# squared("tim") would return "timtimtim"

def squared(num):
    try:
        return num ** 2
    except ValueError:
        return num * (len(num))

your code handles "ValueError", perhaps you can do something different when you get a "TypeError"

It's not required for you to specify the exception to catch, but when you do specify it you have to be sure that's the type of error your code will generate.
