  • Open the Workspace you would like to download
  • Click File then click Download Workspace
  • Save the .zip to a directory of your choosing and then unzip it.
  • Experiment with your favorite editor and browser

I suggest getting a good text editor and just download all the files from your workspace onto your computer. I suggest using Sublime Text , it has been recommended to me by many people. I don't see a way to directly to download the files but its very easy to just copy and paste it over

I am a Beginner but I tryed, sublime text, notepad++, atom, and many other but actually i tryed brackets.io and have to say is great. Thats is my suggest for you try it!!! And let me know .

I am just worried of downloading free software from the internet. you never know what you are getting so I am also looking for something safe.

I understand, but then be free of paid no matters cause wordpress is free is the CMS more used of the world, the comunity of brackect is amazing, I paid for knowledge like treehouse that is amazing and the best plataform then I never see. But no always is paid is great. think in mind. Bye

Adobe brackets is free and safe http://brackets.io

on Sublime will I be able to preview my work like we do here? As it would appear on a website that is. I downloaded notepad ++ and I was sad to see I couldn't review it.

Sublime doesn't support previewing your work by default, but Sublime is very extensible and there are some 3rd party solutions out there, e.g. http://livestyle.emmet.io/

Otherwise, you can always load the page you're working on locally in your web browser and just hit refresh when you want to see the changes.

The question has already been answered, but I had a few thoughts. First, keeping your projects is always a good idea. If you have already built a simple website, you can use past projects as a template for future projects. This keeps you from having to rewrite all the basics that are required for every job.

Also, as far as text editors, Sublime is the way to go. I have used a few in the past, but this is by far my favorite. My friend/tutor/guru suggested it to me, and she has been working in the industry for 20 years. I think you can be confident that it is a safe choice.
