Front End Web Development Techdegree Graduate 84,738 PointsYou could turn them into floats and store that in two other variables like this:
def add(num1, num2):
float1 = float(num1)
float2 = float(num2)
return(float1 + float2)
Or you could do it all inline like this:
def add(num1, num2):
return(float(num1)+float(num2))
The first way is a bit more clean and easier to read and figure out whatβs going on. The second way is more compact. Thereβs advantages to both.
