Which specific track will assist me most with editing the front and back end of a purchased Wordpress website theme?

Hello all!

I am currently going through the Rails development so I can customized my purchased theme on my Wordpress website. Right now I am more focused on the front end of my website. Which tracks would be best to learn to help me? I am trying to make my header more expanded so it covers the full banner at the top of my website.
