4,571 Pointswhy am i getting this error?
couldn't import string_factory
.
# Example:
# values = [{"name": "Michelangelo", "food": "PIZZA"}, {"name": "Garfield", "food": "lasagna"}]
# string_factory(values)
# ["Hi, I'm Michelangelo and I love to eat PIZZA!", "Hi, I'm Garfield and I love to eat lasagna!"]
def string_factory(values):
template = "Hi, I'm {name} and I love to eat {food}!"
new_value = []
name=value['name']
food=value['food']
for value in values:
new_value.append(template.format(name, food))
return new_value

assigning name
and food
needs to happen inside the loop where value
is defined.
because the template uses named fields, the arguments to format
should be keyword/value pairs: (name=name, food=food)
