Hello

available = "banana split;hot fudge;cherry;malted;black and white" sundaes = "banana split;hot fudge;cherry;malted;black and white".split(';')

note the ';'

available = "banana split;hot fudge;cherry;malted;black and white" # available is a string of available sundaes
sundaes = available.split(";")  # sundaes is a list of strings from available sundaes once separate by ;

as Mark Mneimneh says:

note the ";"

split(";")
