why am i not observing any changes in the background color or any other changes in the preview section ?

i have used the id - "wrappers" as you can see and i have made any changes to the index.html file. i have made some changes in the wrappers id which includes changes in the background color and margin etc. but i am not observing any changes in the preview section . why?

You're just missing the - between background and color. 

#wrapper{
  max-width : 940px;
  margin : 0 5%;
  background-color: orange;
}
