Why are the images for Facebook and Twitter getting removed from the img folder without me doing anything in workspaces

I uploaded 2 images for Facebook and 2 images for Twitter to the img folder and they show that they are in the folder. When I close the folder and then open it up again they aren't there. I don't know why workspaces is acting this way. How can I fix this problem?

I'm using Firefox.
