4,798 PointsWhy aren't the Ruby tracks updated with the newest videos?
The Ruby fundations course has videos about loops that are older than these, they're using older versions of Ruby (1.9) so some things don't work anymore

7,105 PointsYou could try RVM, to go back "in time" and use older versions of ruby. Updating the vast video collection for every new version of every language would be almost impossible, except if they employ 10 times more people, in which case you would have to pay 10 times more.

36,441 PointsAs you can see in the library, Treehouse team covers A LOT of topics. And since those technologies are hot and evolve very rapidly, it's hard to have up-to-date content all the time. I imagine it's not easy to prepare and record such videos, so all I can tell you is to be patient and if something doesn't work - google it and see how it changed. This is a great exercise. Also, contact the team directly using the contact link on the right side of the page. The forum is mostly visited by students and moderators, who are also just students, but with yellow frames around their pictures ;)
