CSS How to Make a Website Responsive Web Design and Testing Refactor the Layout

Why does "#gallery li:nth-item(4n) { clear:left; }" work in CSS/project, but not in code challenge?

Code challenge says "inside the media query, clear the left side of every 4th list item in the gallery" (or words to that effect; can't read it while this window is up and not movable)

css/main.css

You have :nth-item(4n). It should be :nth-child(4n)

Thanks! I still don't know why nth-item worked in the course/project and didn't in the code challenge; nor why we needed to use nth-child in the code challenge, and that hasn't been "taught" yet in the course. But it worked, so thank you.

Just a heads up, I'm not sure why :nth-item would have worked since it isn't a css pseudo-selector. The valid pseduo-selectors are :nth-child(n) and :nth-of-type(n) (And their variants like :first-child, :last-child, :first-of-type, etc.)
