why does it keep saying task 1 is no longer passsing

It will accept task one but once I move on to task 2 it will not accept it anymore

Hi there! You're doing great, but take a look at this tip supplied by the challenge in the place where the "Bummer!" message generally appears:

Important: In each task of this code challenge, the code you write should be added to the code from the previous task.

In task 1 you removed the 5, which is exactly what it wanted you to do. But then you removed the code from step 1 and did the code from step 2 which removes the color list. Now the challenge is in a state where the 5 is still present, but the color list is removed.

These tasks are cumulative. Unless otherwise specified, the code for the following tasks should build upon the previous. The solution here is to put back the code that removes the 5 :smile:
