Why does it not accept my top-padding line

It's because you're not selecting the correct items. So I'm going to give you some hints. Remember that <li> stands for list item. A link is denoted by an <a> tag which is short for anchor. The instructions say this:

Select the links inside the nav element

But you're doing these rules on the list items inside the nav element. Take another shot at it with these hints in mind! :sparkles:
