65,469 PointsI think you should first get the even-indexed values from the input iterable, then reverse the even-indexed values.
Try:
def reverse_evens(list):
evens = list[::2]
return evens[::-1]
Or, you can do it in two lines:
def reverse_evens(list):
return list[::2][::-1]
