I guess I'm confused when thinking about the overarching schema here. Why would it be better to have Customers and Companies self-referring to an Accounts table? Wouldn't it have been easier to have a Customers table and a Companies table and a belongs_to_and_has_many relationship between them? I guess I'm just not totally sold on this idea and would love an "oh" moment on when to use self-referential models.
