why i am not getting the desired output

messy_list = ["a", 2, 3, 1, False, [1, 2, 3]] messy_list.insert(0,messy_list.pop(3)) for x in messy_list: if x != int(): messy_list.remove(x)

You would need a different method to check the type of a variable. But you don't need to get that fancy. If you just remove the other items individually you can also pass the challenge that way.
