I pasted your code into the challenge and passed task 1.

So I'm not sure why you'd be getting an error. But just as a general hint, whenever you modify a CSS file, you should put any new rules at the bottom. That way, they will override any existing rules of the same specificity that may be in the file.

The placement doesn't seem to be a problem for this task, though. But it may save you some trouble later on.

Thanks for the reply, the error is in the selector, I put the dot instead of dash. The compiler also missed it!

You mean the code that got the error is different from the code you showed above?

But it would not be a syntax error to replace the dash with a dot. It would just change the meaning of the selector to "items with class contact that also have class info" (which, of course, is not what the challenge asked for).
